Description
Superconducting ceramics: a flexible tape of high- temperature superconducting ceramic material seen before firing. The flexibility of the material allows it to be formed in a mould to the desired shape of a component. This is then fired, removing the binders and plasticisers in the material. The component then becomes rigid, and may be mounted as part of the final product.
