The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Artist's Description
A thin section showing intracellular viruses in an Escherichia coli B cell 30 minutes after infection with T2 bacteriophages. Several complete, newly synthesized phages are visible within this bacterium. These T2 particles are radially oriented with their heads extending toward the center of the cell and with the distal tips of their tails in close proximity to the bacterial membrane. The magnification scale lines in this and in subsequent micrographs represent approximately 1000 Angstrom.
