I noted that the color came out differently on this size of bag, it is distinctly more purple. I happen to love that color also--the larger size has perfect color, exactly like the photo. I love both of my bags.

The illustration was published in The Geography of Plants, 1807, in a large format. Humboldt (1769 -1859) was a Prussian geographer, naturalist, explorer, and influential proponent of Romantic philosophy and science.
